A Night in Lasnamae

Hanging out with Russian friends and family in Lasnamae, a Soviet built suburb of Tallinn, Estonia. (I guess if there is a suburb in that city.) Most people think Russians only drink and smoke, but if you look at the photos we are talking also.

Iron... the only Russian dog I know. He loves people, food, and snow but will try to eat any other dog that crosses his path.

The Dance of Prey

I shot this a couple of weeks ago on my front porch. I don't have a macro lens so the quality is not the best. Something about the spider killing the bug was just really fascinating to me. At first I watched the spider entangle the bug in its web for about 15 minutes before I thought to take a photo. I guess it so interesting because it is the raw form of nature, the predator and it's prey. And how we all get caught in webs and sometimes catch others in ours.
